Ok, who am I?

Actually, I am being asked where I’m from often, since I have an accent and people are curious.

My answer to that is: I am from many places. And really that is how I feel. I am a Hungarian born and raised in Transylvania (Romania), yep…it is a real place but lived pretty much all my adult life in Canada.

My background is versatile: I worked as a dietary technician (at Vancouver Hospital) as systems analyst (at Shell Canada), and now I am co-owner of Effortless Marketing in Calgary, Canada, a digital marketing agency, I created in 2009.  Helping others succeed, keeping my mind and body healthy and active and having fun is what matters to me J.

When it comes to sharing information on this site, I am relying on my college diploma in nutrition and 5 years of experience as a Dietary tech working for the largest hospital in BC (Vancouver General Hospital), followed by some experience holding seminars for TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) in northern BC. I also got ACCESS Bars certification a few years ago and I am a Reiki Level II practitioner.

These educational and real-life experiences allow me to understand and evaluate with a bit more ease and understanding the multitude,… no, the absolutely endless number of different health remedies, diets and health advice that are out there and choose to share what I know from personal or direct experience that have worked. Of course, I always promote self reliance and in no way is anything on this website medical advice.

I grew up in a small town in Moravia, back when it was still Czechoslovakia.

In 2010, I took a leap of faith and moved to Canada with just a suitcase and a backpack, not knowing it would become my home for good.

By day, I’m a digital marketer, but as a true Gemini, my curiosity knows no bounds. I’m always reading, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, and exploring the web for ways to grow and improve—information is my element.

I’m also a certified Infinite Possibilities trainer and a massage therapist (CZ), always fascinated by the mind-body connection and the power of transformation. And, I’m a proud mom of a teenager, which brings its own adventures and life lessons.

Like many women my age, I’ve found myself navigating the wild ride of perimenopause. It’s been humbling, challenging, and eye-opening all at once. But it’s also been a chance to take charge of my health, my mindset, and my future—to fully embrace who I am and who I want to become.

I’ve always been drawn to different spiritual and self-development practices, exploring astrology, feng shui, body-centered psychotherapy, Native American ceremonies, nature magic, Healing

Touch, Kabbalah, and more. Learning and evolving is just part of who I am. And now, I’m here to share what I’ve learned, to support other women through this transition, and to remind you—you are not alone in this journey.
