The Jelly Belly is Back

The Jelly Belly is back! After years of hibernation (and Facebook deleting our page), it’s time to dust things off, refresh the website, create a new Facebook page, and breathe new life into this project. Now more than ever, we believe it’s important to support women navigating the hormonal shifts of midlife—the transition from the fertile, childbearing years to a new stage of life.

This journey brings change—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Some embrace it, some dread it, and many feel lost, uninformed, or unprepared. That’s why we’re reviving The Jelly Belly. We’re keeping the original name—because let’s be honest, if you’re not battling a jelly belly at this stage, we need to know your secret!

Our goal is to create a space for honest conversations—no shame, just sharing. A place for vulnerability, support, and community. Whether you’re just entering this stage, deep in the rollercoaster, or have fully crossed the bridge into menopause (aka wise woman status), you’re welcome here.

We’re working on refreshing the website, so stay tuned for new posts. And since we both live in Calgary, we’re planning to host in-person sharing circles—just like our ancestors did—because when women gather, good things happen.

More soon! ?

Ok, who am I? Actually, I am being asked where I'm from, since I have an accent and people are curious. My answer to that is: I am from many places. And really that is how I feel. I am a Hungarian born and raised in Transylvania, yep...it is a real place :) but lived pretty much all my adult life in Canada. My background is versatile: worked as a dietary technician, as systems analyst, etc. Having fun, that's what matters :)
